2007: THE YEAR OF THE TASER

Watch as this Highway Patrol officer tasers a man in front of his pregnant wife and child over an alleged speeding ticket.

They later ruled that Officer Gardner acted "reasonably"... those bastards really look out for their own don't they?

Other interesting points, this video was made possible to be spread online because the victim filed it through the Freedom of Information Act. I guarantee if this video was not made public, he would have gone through hell trying to see any sort of justice for it.

Also, if you listen when the backup officer arrives, you hear Gardner say "he just took a ride on the taser"... clearly this must all be either routine or a joke to him.
