At 8PM I order some Thai food to be delivered.

At 9:30PM, nothing had arrived, so I called the restaurant. They told me that the delivery boy came, but could not figure out my apartment complex buzzer, so he just left.

I told them to send him back, they said they would.

By 11PM NOBODY HAD COME YET.

I called them again, and they proceeded to tell me that the delivery boy "did not want to deliver".

I said "what do you mean he doesn't want to to deliver?!"

They said "he refuses to deliver, does not want the hassle of figuring out the buzzer."

ITS NOT BIOCHEMISTRY ITS AN APARTMENT INTERCOM.

I told them to send someone else, they told me he was the only guy working.

SO AFTER THREE HOURS OF WAITING FOR MY FOOD, THE DELIVERY BOY REFUSES TO DO HIS JOB, AN THUS I AM LEFT WITH NOTHING.

I SWEAR TO GOD THE INCOMPETENCE OF PEOPLE HERE IS ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING. ONLY IN NEW YORK CITY COULD YOU EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE SOME SHIT LIKE THIS.

IN THREE DAYS I AM ON A PLANE GOING BACK TO PORTLAND, WHERE THERE ARE DECENT HUMAN BEINGS AND AN ACTUAL RESPECTABLE SOCIETY, AND I CANNOT WAIT.
